St Aidan's CBPS

Biting January cold brought hardy boys from St Aidan's to the pastoral centre. They were thoughtful boys, looking forward to their Confirmation and continuing to shine their light.

Focus
We used the cloths to make a candle to show the light and it represents peace. Our hands are round it because we are together.

Music
The boys sang 'Do not be afraid I am with you' from their Confirmation repertoire with great sincerity. They felt it shows how God is always with us, showing his love.

Scripture
The scripture Matthew (5:14-16) tells us not to be bad and make good choices. It doesn't matter if anyone laughs at you.

Prayers

Dear God

Please look after my nanny, 

please help her to stay out of any consequences

 in terms of any bad things.

Help all my family through all the challenges of life.

Amen

Dear God 

Bless my family.

Help my family in life through the future.

And bless everyone around me.

I ask you to bless my granny who is sick.

Bless anyone who is sick.
