St Colman's Primary School, Lisburn

The girls and boys from Lambeg came to us following their Confirmation. Filled with the Holy Spirit they engaged in discussion, exploring the meaning of the newly received sacrament. They also managed to fit in a bit of skipping and football to ward off the chill weather.

Focus
Our focus shows that the Holy Spirit always protects us no matter what. The symbols of the Holy Spirit are the flame, the dove and the wind. We showed the wind as a boat. The Holy Spirit also gives us strength to carry on.

Music
For our first song we chose 'One love'- Bob Marley, when we are working together we feel we're helping each other. We then picked 'You've Got A Friend In Me', we've always got a friend in the goodness of each other, to help us in difficult times.
Scripture
Matthew (5:14-16) means that we should shine our light and it should not be covered, it should be left out for everyone to see.

Prayers

Reflection
We chose the title 'The Hands of God' as our hands represent us. On them is written how we can be more helpful and caring towards others.

Focus
Our rainbow represents the peace and calmness in the world, because of the vibrant colours of God's creation that represent our personalities.
Music
We picked 'Firework' because God explodes his love to us and 'Shine' as God's love shines in us.
Prayers

Reflection
We chose the title 'Shine Your Light' as we feel we can shine our lights to see God in each other.
