St Mary's On The Hill PS

P 7s from St Mary's On The Hill joined us for a Transition Retreat. Many of them have been together for seven years and are preparing to go in different directions. They have lots of qualities and talents especially musical, which they treated us to at their prayer service.
Friday 10th May
Music
Mairead and Aoife played 'Cead Mile Failte' on the violin and they also chose 'Man In The Mirror' because if we want to make a change, we have to start with ourselves.

Scripture
Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd I have everything I need
He gives me places to be calm and peaceful
He gives me inner strength to do good things
He shows me the right way to go
Even when bad things happen, I will not be afraid
For God is with me to get through difficult things
I know God's love will be with me all my life
And I will always be welcome in God's house as long as I live
Reflection
We chose to write acrostic poems describing how we felt about today.

Sacred Heart PS

The boys from north Belfast came to the pastoral centre. The weather was fine and they managed to fit in a game of football. They had an enjoyable day and produced lovely creative work.
Friday 25th April
Focus
We had a peaceful day and decided to have the peace sign in our focus. We are represented by the kites with the tails blowing across the sky and our hands with all the ways we will be able to shine are around the edge.
Music
We picked 'Read All About It' because it is saying if you don't like me its not my fault because God created me and I'm a good person.
We also picked 'Shine' because our poster title is about how we are to let our light shine and we've been thinking about it so much today.
Scripture
Matthew (5:14-16) told us we have to let our light shine for other people.

Reflection
We picked the title 'Let It Shine' because if you only live once, help people who need help and the ones who are maybe more unfortunate than you.

St Joseph's PS Lisburn

Pupils from St Joseph's joined us for a Transition retreats as they complete their primary school days.  They are all set to begin different journeys  in September and we wish them well.
