St. Joseph's College

I'd been told that St. Joseph's were always a school that brought fun, friendship and great characters - Tuesday proved that to be right. A great bunch from year 14... We found ourselves all glad at the end of the day to be in our jobs - what a privilege.
Focus:
We made this focus to represent our thoughts and feelings.
The dove represents peace, the water reminds us of the calm that we felt today. The trees are at the root of our lives, the grass symbolises us growing into awareness of what we are to be.
The sun is the love from our friends and family who help us grow in the same way the sun helps the trees to grow.
Finally, the stars represents our loved ones and the candles represent the people who have passed away.
Music:
Hero - We came here to find ourselves and so we chose this song as it encourages us to face our fears and to be strong.
For our second song we choose You've Got a Friend in Me. we chose this because we came here to bond and become friends
Scripture:
The story we chose was, Who do you say I am?. We choose this story because, even in the modern day, people are always curious about how others perceive them and I feel it's relevant to what we have  experienced here today.

Prayers:
Dear God
Please help everyone with their examinations and may
 everyone find happiness next year.
Help me live my live the right way
and guide me in the right direaction.
I would also like to ask that you take
everyone's worries and troubles away.
Amen

Dear God
Let us pray for the poor people in Africa.
For the people in Palestine that they may be free.
Pray for all the people standing in the slums of India.
Pray for peace in troubled counties.
Pray for all the people in Ireland.
Amen

Dear God
Let us pray for all the teachers supporting us throughout the year
Lord hear us

Dear God
Thanks to everyone you have given us.
Thanks for our transport.
May you guide us safely through
this year and may it be one of cheer.
Amen

Dear God
Thanks for all the stuff you have done for us.
Please bless all the children kidnapped by
Kony and all the kidnapped children around the world.
Amen

Let us pray
for all the people who  have
supported us thought out our lives.
Lord hear us

Reflection:
We felt today was about connecting with each other. It was about our past, present and future. We realised how much we are all connected through these things.

Our Lady of Mercy Girls School.

Focus:
We made a night sky to represent the peacefulness and calmness of the day. We also put the shooting star to represent everyone's hopes and wishes in the future.
Music:
What if God was one of us - This song makes us think about how we treat people.
You have a friend in me - We all have a friend in Jesus.
Scripture:
Love is patient (Cor:13) We picked this because we all need to be more patient and kind with one another.
 Prayer:

 Reflection:

Focus:
We done this heart with different colours to represent the different kinds of feelings that we all felt during the day. We showed the jigsaws to represent that everyone is important. Our friendship chain is there to show what we thought of each other.
Music:
We picked Hero because all of us are hero's no matter what.we invited everyone to sing along.
Stand by you - We chose this because it represents that we will be together for 5 years and we will need to stand by each other.
Scripture:
The mustard seed Mark four. We picked this because it represents how we will learn and grow over the nest 5 years.
 Prayer:
Dear God
Help the people in need because there is
people out living in the streets
like the people who beg for money.
God bless them
Amen
